Your soul is so close to mine
That I know every thought that comes to your mind
Friends know each other’s innermost heart and mind
if I did not know this; I would not be a sincere friend
Friends are like clear water to each other
So that my reflection is clearly seen in my Friend
Even though people are also mirrors
reflected in whom I see my profit and loss
Yet at any moment [their mirrors] can darken
for it does not undergo the polishings I give my soul
But the mirror of the Sage (Aref) will not
Be clouded even if the dust of the whole world is cast upon it
Don’t turn your face from this mirror
for it tells you "I am the refuge of your life and soul"
Me and my words are the mirror of the soul
He will discover his state from my words
Keep silent, so I can read a thousand adventures
from just the eyebrows and expressions
